History

Readers in Wonderland started as an idea in December 2011. It was left alone until July 2012, when it was started anew on Blogger. Initially, it was for two friends who wanted to talk about books, and back then we could never have imagined it would expand to the size it is now. Once the blog started to grow, faster than we had ever imagined, we knew it was time to branch out. We purchased our own domain and remade our image to Readers in Wonderland. In May 2013, we made the big step and moved to self hosted WordPress. Some reviewers have retired, but we have also gained invaluable new friends who love to read as much as we do!

Main Reviewers:

aliseHas been reading ever since she can remember. Although a bit cynical (and especially sarcastic), she’s genuine and honest. She reads in every spare moment, and even every no-so spare moment. Alise is the owner, main reviewer, social media orchestrator, and email answerer. She resides in the good ol’ US of A studying Graphic Information Technology.

bec A crazy Australian semi-adult who reads too much and much prefers fictional universes to the real world. This self proclaimed nerd and bookworm started a blog so she could fangirl/rant/ramble about her favourite books (her friends stopped listening a while ago). She hopes you wonderful people will enjoy reading her thoughts and maybe even get some entertainment from them.

Hi guys! I stumbled on your blog a few days ago and I love the design! I cant wait to see more posts on the blog. @Alise: I’ve watched Spirited Away as well and I’m terrified of it as well.

Ran across this website from the “Blogger’s Commenting Back” post, and wow! You guys do absolutely amazing reviews here (and on some really nice titles). Have any of the lovely reviewers here reviewed/read the Dresden Files book series? I’m currently rereading it for a second time and definitely recommend the series for fans of the urban fantasy/mystery genres. :)

    Keep up the awesome work!!

Thank you so much! I know I haven’t, and I’m don’t think Bec has either. We will definitely check it out :)
