March 2018 Wrap Up

March 30, 2018 Meme 8

This month got pretty quiet on the blog. Between one of us moving countries, and the other smashed at work, we haven’t had much time to do any blogging! Here’s the posts that were published this month:

March has been a big month for me. All due to me getting organised to leave Australia. It’s been hectic and expensive but I’m finally in New Zealand with everything falling into place! I’m excited and terrified to start working next week after Easter.

One other thing I did this past month was start a new reading journal! I already had one I was taking notes in, but I wasn’t happy with the lay out. This one is a dot journal like my bujo and hence more customisable. I might right a post about my layouts eventually.

  • A Kobo Aura (it’s a bit hard to takeĀ all my physical TBR on a plane so this is my alternative!)
  • ACE OF SHADES (via NG)
  • SIGHTWITCH (Witchlands #0.5)
  • OBSIDIO (The Illuminae Chronicles #3)
  • MARKSWOMAN (Asiana #1)

How was your March?

Best of luck on your first day, Bec! You got this :)

I also started a reading journal this year and I’m so glad I did. I still keep track of everything through Goodreads and my blog, but this just makes it feel so much more real and I feel so much more accomplished when I tick off goals and things. I do need to get better about taking notes on a book after I read it so I don’t have to reread it just to write a review weeks later.

Thank you! It was pretty good. I’m a week in now and learning more and more :)

I really enjoy having everything written down. I wish I’d thought to add reading goals to it!

      Thank you!

I’m a bit over half way through and am really enjoying Ace of Shades! I hope we both enjoy Song of Blood and Stone :)

Ew work problems. I hope your April has been smoother so far!

I haven’t read it yet haha. I’ll get to it eventually… (I haven’t even read Windwitch yet)

I’m glad you’re settled in New Zealand and good luck with your job! I’m sure you’ll be brilliant. I do a monthly link-up for planners, scrapbooks, etc. if you do a Bujo type of post and want to share! It’s the third Thursday of every month called Keep It Together. I’m doing a bullet journal this year for the first time and it’s just entertainment – books, movies, etc.
