Ahhhh so many amazing books! I seriously want Paper Valentine & The 5th Wave! I have Clockwork Princess & This Is What Happy Looks Like. Will read it before the year ends. This month was just “bleh” for me. I had Spanish finals literally every other day so I couldn’t get a lot reading or reviews done. -_- I still have finals next week. Ugh. This month went by fast though, don’t you think? Can’t believe its already June!! How are you ladies liking WordPress btw? Your blog looks super awesome & cute!

Aw :( Finals are the worst, especially the ones in another language xD I think it went by pretty fast, yeah. Thanks :) We are liking it much, much better now. The first week I wanted to tear my hair out, I messed up so many things. I think I got the hang of it now. Good luck on your finals!

    • Alise

Yay! I’ll look forward to reading those two then! I hope you like TGWWSD, I like Henry’s other novels better.

    • Alise

Thank you! I saw those two at Barnes & Noble for a bargain price and had to pick them up! I also love the cover of Anderson’s fairy tales :)

  2. Sunny

I love all your posts, especially your reviews so I was giddy that you have 16 :) Great hauls, too!

Well I have no life xD Bec reads pretty fast, too. Oh gosh, I loved Clockwork Princess too, I cried for like an hour after I finished that one. Thanks for visiting!

    • Alise

I love fairy tales too :) They were bargain price at Barnes & Noble! I can’t wait to read Paper Valentine!

    • Alise

I know what you mean. That epilogue was the most emotional thing I ever read. Loved the ending, though :) I like Happy Ever Afters.

  4. Delaney

Wow you had quite a month! And you’ve got Grimm’s! It took me at least forever to read it but I thoroughly enjoyed how…strange it was. XD Not going to say anything else, but it was totally different than what Disney makes it seems.

Also, I haven’t been popping by your blog a lot but i see you’ve changed the design! It looks absolutely gorgeous you two!

P.S. Well…my secret for good book deals was just going into this store called Dollar Book Fair…don’t know if there is one there where you live, but that’s where I got most of the books i got. Don’t tell anyone, ‘kay? ;D

Have an awesome time reading all those and Happy June to you guys! ^^

Yes, it was very productive :) I love reading the original, un-disneyfied fairy tales.

Thank you! I’m glad you like it! :)

Shh, I’ll keep it a secret. (So now I have to make a post revealing all of Delaney’s bargain deals then take over the world.)

      Thanks, too!

    • Alise

Ah, I know what you mean. The subject matter is definitely a touchy topic. Can’t wait for Stormdancer!

    • Alise

I’m glad to hear that because I was iffy about This is what happy looks like. The Infernal Devices were great! Thanks!

  5. Susanne

Nice haul! Full Dark No Stars is really good. I have heard so many great things about The 5th Wave. I really want to read it! Thanks for stopping by and happy reading!

    • Alise

I’m so excited for Siege and Storm as well. Bec already read it :( I didn’t care for Let the Sky Fall either!

    • Alise

Really? Thanks! :) You really should read TID soon, it was great. Much better than TMI. Thank you, best of luck if you do!

Hi Alise! Thanks for stopping by my blog! I really really love the layout of your blog. Been thinking about changing over to WP for months now. Maybe in July when GFC goes away. I really need to read the Hunt one of these days since it’s sitting on the shelf behind me! Stormdancer & The Fifth Wave were Awesome! Happy Reading!

AAHHH I totally want to read The 5th Wave!! The hype surrounding it is kinda crazy but I hope it will meet your expectations. Stormdancer sounds amazing too. I love Japanese culture and the MC seems badass!

P.S: Your blog layout is getting better!

Thanks! I know, I usually stay away from books that have been hyped so much, but I’m really curious.

Yeah, it was a busy month :P Ooh, I didn’t know there was a sequel coming out! Awesome. Thanks!

  10. Lisa

I want Paper Valentine. I’m not even sure what it’s about, but the cover alone is enough to make me pick it up. I’m reading This Is What Happy Looks Like right now. I like it so far, though I’m not zooming through it like I figured I would. *shrugs* I STILL need to read Clockwork Princess. I’ve been putting it off because I don’t want the series to end. Lol. Enjoy your books! (:
