October 2016 Wrap Up

November 2, 2016 Meme 8

It only just dawned on me the other day that 2016 is nearly over. I refuse to believe that because there is still so much to do! The only good thing about it is it means those pretty 2017 goodies are closer!

I can’t even think of things I’ve done this past months because final exams start next week and I have 8 of them (8 over a two week period. I don’t know if I’ll make it out alive) I’ve probably just been studying and stressing the entire time. So exciting and fun. I’m dying.

I blame the stress and procrastination for breaking my Netgalley ban.

  • Alchemist of Loom by Elisa Kova (from Netgalley)
  • Hexenhaus by Nikki McWatters(thanks to UQP)
  • Roseblood by A.G. Howard (from Netgalley)
  • Gemina by Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff
  • Serial by multiple authors (thanks to Serial Box)
  • Caraval by Stephanie Garber (from Netgalley)

I finally have some good news-I haven’t been sick constantly! (Knock on wood). I still haven’t had much time to read because I’ll be gearing up for my college graduation next month and the workload and stress is real. There just isn’t enough time to do all the things I want to do anymore and it’s super frustrating. Also, it’s Halloween and no one got me candy what is this. It doesn’t matter that I am an adult and can buy my own.

  • BLACKHEARTS by Nicole Castroman
  • RAGING STAR by Moira Young
  • HALF LOST by Sally Green
  • SINCE YOU’VE BEEN GONE by Morgan Matson
  • STRANDS OF BRONZE AND GOLD by Jane Nickerson
  • THE MISTBORN TRILOGY by Brandon Sanderson
  • ROSEBLOOD by A.G. Howard (YES!)

What did you do for Halloween?
What books did you get?
Excited for any November releases?

Isn’t it insane how quickly 2016 flew by!? It feels like it just started and all of a sudden it’s NOVEMBER. Whaaaa?! In any case, sending lots of luck on the school front to both of you! Bec I got GEMINA too but I was on a EoS hangover and didn’t read for like 2 weeks. I’m finally shaking it now so I’m hoping I’ll get to GEMINA soon. Alise, so happy you aren’t sick anymore! YAY for the Mistborn Trilogy OMG!! :D Oh and I just started Half Bad so I’m excited to see Half Lost there^^ Happy November friends! xx

It’s gone so quickly! Way to quickly!

I cannot wait to get into EoS! That’s been teasing me for months now, and will keep teasing me until Christmas.

I’m totally responsible for Alise’s Mistborn purchase, you’ll be proud to know haha

Best of luck for both of you! You guys can do this :D I don’t celebrate halloween so I’ve got nothing to report on that front. I can’t believe it’s November already! 1 month to go and we’re straight into 2017. I can safely say I’m not ready so maybe November would be the month of freak out because I just have so many unfinished bussiness haha.
