What does it mean when your school is voted the most dangerous in America? It’s time to kick some hellion butt…

After not really surviving her junior year (does “undead” count as survival?), Kaylee Cavanaugh has vowed to take back her school from the hellions causing all the trouble. She’s going to find a way to turn the incarnations of Avarice, Envy and Vanity against one another in order to protect her friends and finish this war, once and forever.

But then she meets Wrath and understands that she’s closer to the edge than she’s ever been. And when one more person close to her is taken, Kaylee realizes she can’t save everyone she loves without risking everything she has.

Soul Screamers is  one of my all time favourite series. Throughout the seven books I have experienced endless pain and happiness and it breaks my heart to see it come to and end in WITH ALL MY SOUL. I still can’t believe this wonderful series is over.

WITH ALL MY SOUL wasn’t an easy book to read. Stakes are higher than ever and the characters have everything left to lose. Still against the odds the characters get the happy ending they deserve. My tears of feels and emotion turned to tears of happiness and relief in that final chapter. Such a superb ending. I couldn’t be happier with it. It left me in such a stupour.

This review is really hard to write because of how much I love this book and these characters… Everyone grows in this book. I think I might have reading it I think. Despite the dire circumstances there are still light and funny moments to give you a break before the characters go back to tearing your heart apart. I cried a lot reading this WITH ALL MY SOUL.

WITH ALL MY SOUL did start off a little slow, but once I hit the middle and the OH-NO-THIS-CAN’T-BE-HAPPENING-NOOO moments started I couldn’t stop. I had to know the solution they came up with to this and I couldn’t see one that had a good outcome for my beloved Kaylee and her friends. What she came up with was brilliant. So brilliant. I love Kaylee’s strength and cunning, she surprised me in every book and I’m so sad to see her go.

What I am basically trying to say in this all over the place review is that I loved WITH ALL MY SOUL. It caused me a lot of pain, but I really cannot think of a better way for a series to end, especially one that is so close to my heart. If you haven’t already, I urge you to read the Soul Screamers books. There’s seven but once you get to number three, it’s not much of a commitment anymore as each book is better than the last. Kaylee is a heroine in a unique world that will continue to surprise you. You will not regret watching her and her friends grow, I promise.

I know! The closer I got the the end the more my brain screamed “NO! NO! NOOOOOO!!” It looked like it was going to end with so much pain but it didn’t and it was amazing.

The last 3 books have been full 5 stars for me, and even then each is better than the last. Soul Screamers is definitely one of the best books I’ve ever read.

I’m also a huge fan of this series and, like you, I cried my eyes out during this book. Not just because it was the ending of the series, but also because of all the pain Kaylee went through to finally reach a happy ending. Even when I reread it, I still bawled at the end. Soul Screamers is probably the most emotional series I’ve ever read, I went through the entire range of emotions while reading the series, and this book topped it. Love this series! And I agree, everyone should read this series because it’s EPIC! :)

Yes! All the books, especially the last ones, made you feel all the emotions you possibly can, each one more intense in the last. I can’t wait to reread it (and to make Alise go through this pain)

I haven’t read this series, Bec but I love the sound of this book. I may add this to my TBR and experience all those wonderful stuff you wrote about! Such a nice review! : )
