My experience with FALLING KINGDOMS wasn’t the most positive, but after the good ending I couldn’t wait to start REBEL SPRING. And you’ll be happy to know REBEL SPRING is everything I wanted.

What made me enjoy REBEL SPRING more than FALLING KINGDOMS? For starters I found the characters to be much more likeable. I had grown to like them and they were undergoing some fantastic developments. Chloe is becoming my favourite, with her determination but also her wit and planning. She is hungry for revenge but not stupid enough to try and get it on her own. Magnus grew on me too. I never really liked him in the first book, where he was obsessed with power and Lucia. Now, however, he is starting to care about other things, and we got to see a few scenes that made me think he would be a great character. Lucia is the only character I really couldn’t care about.
