I’ve been struggling to find the motivation to write this review for a week. I’m not sure how to explain what I thought, how I felt about The Almost Girl and its story and character because I just feel ‘meh’ about it. It wasn’t fantastic, it wasn’t terrible. It was smack bang in the middle. Just… okay.

At the beginning the plot was choppy. It jumped from scene to scene and just did not flow well at all. I got confused, I couldn’t keep track of the timeline, it was all over the place. A little before halfway through the plot did smooth out. More action started happening, the plot actually started moving and was suspenseful, if predictable.
