Once upon a time, about 5 years ago to be exact, little Bec discovered Tumblr and it took over her life. Tumblr is probably the social media site I spend the most amount of time on. It’s just perfect for procrastination. And it also has a pretty well established book community, known as Booklr!
What do booknerds do on tumblr? Well I think of it as a cross between Pinterest and blogging. Booklr bloggers make posts, fangirl over books, post bookish pictures and reblog them, and just generally have a good time!
Because I spend so much time on booklr I thought I should recommend some blogs. I love so many and follow over 200 people on there, but here are 5 of my favourites.
Becki is the first Booklr I remember following specifically. She reaches such as wide range of books and is such a sweetheart. Plus her dog Max is adorable. Her passion for The Book Thief is infectious and the entire reason why I finally got around to reading that amazing book.
Books and Cookies
Mary has to be one of the nicest people I’ve seen around Booklr. She’s so encouraging of everyone and cares about each and every one of her followers. She is also the only non-Australian resident on this list haha. (I didn’t plan it that way I swear :P )
Read Around the Rosie
Allison and I have basically the same taste in books. I’m always keeping her eyes out for her reviews and what upcoming releases she’s excited about.
The Book Hangover
Bec (yes, another. There is an army of Rebecca’s on booklr) is a fellow Throne of Glass fan and that is the only reason you need to follower her. She also reads a lot of other great books too and just a general great ball of fun.

My Blog: Another Generic Book Blog
And I can’t not leave this post without plugging my own tumblr! Another Generic Book Blog also recently reached 5000 follower so I’ve got a giveaway going on you should check out ;) I haven’t had as much time to spend on there recently as I would like, but I’ll be hanging around a lot once uni is over for the year!
